Rico Finnäs has reached an agreement with Finnish Veikkausliiga team HJK to renew his contract with the club to cover the seasons 2021 with a possibility of one-year extension.
The 20-years old wing-back had an excellent season 2020 in HJK reserve team Klubi04 playing in 15 Kakkonen matches and 3 Cup matches. Rico also debuted in the Veikkausliiga, the premier division of Finnish football, in HJK’s 4-0 win over RoPS, Rovaniemi on September 28th 2020.
Rico moved to HJK from the Finnish Ykkönen team MYPA in the beginning of season 2020. Before MYPA Rico represented Spanish club Ranero CF.
Rico has also debuted in the Finnish U21 national team in January 2019.
